Our Certificate II Conservation and Land Management students conducted a fish trapping survey with support from Dr Sylvia from AquaSave NGT. It was so exciting to catch a couple of hundred native fish including smelt, bony brim, galaxias, congolli and flat-headed gudgeon. The fish were counted, lengths measured and they were returned to the water. The local water quality was also recorded. Six long-necked tortoises were also caught and released.
