Introducing our first Certificate I in Conservation and Land Management Class!

Our College has a strong focus in sustainability and environmental education. To complement the certificate courses being run at our Currency Creek EcoCentre and Trades Skills Centre, we have introduced two units from the Certificate I in Conservation and Land Management course to our Year 9 students. Students can complete the qualification by doing the additional four units in Year 10 as an elective. The elective has been incredibly popular with three classes of Year 9s taking up the offer this year.

The three Certificate courses in Conservation and Land Management and the Certificate in Horticulture are offered at Investigator College through TAFE as the Registered Training Organisation.  Members of the College staff have undergone training to deliver these qualifications. What an exciting start to the year!
