Last week Year 9 students competed in the Japanese MasterChef cook-off.

After researching traditional Japanese dishes, students formed groups and decided which dish their group would make for the challenge.
Students cooked a variety of dishes including ramen, okonomiyaki, tonkatsu, dorayaki and tempura. The standard of cooking was extremely high with judges commenting on one of the ramen dishes being the best ramen they had tasted out of Japan!

The students worked superbly in their groups, learned a lot about traditional Japanese foods and had a lot of fun.
