The Year 4s had a wonderful day at the Maritime Museum on Friday 8 September. The weather was perfect as we hopped aboard the Archie Badenoch to spot dolphins and learn about Port Adelaide’s past, climbed the lighthouse and gazed across the horizon eyeing off key points of interest in Adelaide, explored the Maritime Museum and had a guide discuss the advancements in technology and how travel over the ocean has changed. We compared what travel was like for The First Fleet in the 1780s as well as other groups of people during the 1850s, 1910s and 1960s. It was a great day.
