Our Investigator College families community enjoyed an advanced screening of the remake of Storm Boy at the Victa Cinema on Thursday 29 November.

Year 1 student Edward Boehm, along with his family, shared this wonderful experience with those closest to him. Edward stars as the young version of Storm Boy.

By way of raffle prizes, the evening allowed guests to raise $187.00 for the 4Ocean organisation that cleans up our global coastlines and educates about marine life.  Raffle prizes were kindly donated by local businesses- Chit Chat Newsagency, Nailin’ Beauty, Renee Newman Remedial Massage, and the Boehm family.

The College would like to thank Melissa Belton, Victor Harbor Junior School Wellbeing Team leader, for organising this event.

Storm Boy is due to be released mid-January 2019 and is definitely a beautiful remake of an Australian classic not to be missed.
