Our Receptions have been exploring our Currency Creek EcoCentre!  Our Year 11 Conservation and Land Management students designed activities, identified hazards and prepared risk assessments prior to the Reception’s arrival. Students were divided into small groups and were rotated through the activities, which included planting native plants, caring for the environment, nature games, nature play, damper making and story time. The story was written by one of the Year 11s and was about a turtle who had to leave Currency Creek because of the jet boats but, when Investigator College came to the rescue and re-vegetated the lagoons, the turtle and her family could return.
