Big thanks to our vital volunteers
Investigator College is more than a leading Independent College – it is a learning community.
A recent review of the College’s strategic outlook and plan looked into the best features of the school.
The review indicated the importance of ‘community’ and particularly the critical role played by volunteers.
Our team of over 100 volunteers spans all age groups, works across all areas of the College and shares the College’s core vision – providing opportunities for all to be their ‘best self’.
At Investigator College, the investment in our young people by volunteers is a special part of the college’s involvement in our community throughout the South Coast.
The volunteers not only give their time; they give their experience, their knowledge, their expertise and their passion for learning.
Our students are all the richer for the generosity and care of all our volunteers; in fact, some things would simply not be possible were it not for the assistance and leadership our volunteers bring to the College.
Staff and students can be thankful to our volunteers every time they visit our world-class Early Learners Centre (“Little Investigators”), our libraries, our Technology Centre, our specialist sports programs, our Nature Play areas, our state-of-the-art Senior School, our Trade Skills Centre at our Currency Creek EcoCentre or our award-winning canteen.
None of these would have been possible without the input of our volunteers.
We cannot thank them enough. Every week is Volunteers Week!
