Scholarship Overview
Guiding avid early explorers as they embarked on exciting new voyages, our North Star Scholarships recognise excellence in Academic Performance, Sports, Co-Curricular Endeavour and Performing Arts. Available to students seeking to commence at Investigator College in Year 7, North Star Scholarships are awarded at the beginning of a new phase of the learning journey, as students make the transition from Primary or Junior School into Secondary education.
Scholarship Recipients & Entitlements
North Star Scholarships are available to new students, who are seeking to commence at Investigator College in Year 7.
The recipients of our North Star Scholarships are recognised for their ability to shine in a given area, and their willingness to consistently apply themselves to others. They serve as an inspiration and an encouragement to their peers, approaching the new and unknown with courage and resilience.
North Star Scholarships entitle the recipient to a special remission on annual tuition fees, up to a maximum of 25%.
Selection Criteria
To apply for consideration for a North Star Scholarship, applicants will be required to address the following selection criteria:
- Evidence of excellence or exemplary effort in academic studies.
- Evidence of strong participation and/or leadership in a given extra-curricular, sports or co-curricular activity.
- Demonstration, with examples, of a willingness to engage with new opportunities, learn new skills and/or participate in new experiences.
In addition to addressing the selection criteria, it is expected that applicants for our North Star Scholarship will attach:
- a personal reference or recommendation from a coach, teacher, school leader, or relevant community representative to support their application
