Year 3-6 Beach Carnival

Our students in Years 3-6 are in for a day of sun, sand, and fun! The Beach Carnival is a favourite event where students engage in various beach and water activities including flags, volleyball and board activities. It’s a fantastic day of building teamwork and enjoying the beautiful coastal environment we’re privileged to have nearby. This is planned to occur on Thursday 7 December.

Christmas Concert

Get ready for a musical extravaganza as our talented students come together to celebrate the festive season. The Christmas Concert is a heartwarming event that showcases the creative and musical talents of our students. You won’t want to miss it! Please pencil it into your calendar on Thursday 23 November.

Year 6 Graduation and ELC Graduation

We’re incredibly proud of our Year 6 students as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journey. The Year 6 Graduation ceremony is a significant milestone, marking their transition to secondary school. We’ll also celebrate the achievements of our Early Learning Centre (ELC) graduates in a special ceremony as they prepare to join us in “Big School” as they commonly refer to it.

Transition Day

For our students moving on to a new year level or starting in a different part of the school, Transition Day offers a fantastic opportunity to get acquainted with their new surroundings and meet their teachers for the upcoming year. This day will occur in Week 6. If I can please draw your attention to the correspondence sent out at the end of last term regarding emailing any class placement considerations for next Year.

Christmas Craft Activities

In the spirit of the holiday season, we have a series of Christmas craft activities planned for the Junior Primary Students. These creative sessions are a great way for students to express themselves and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Festival Choir Concert

As a part of the Southern Metropolitan Music Festival, our talented Junior Choir will be taking centre stage in a magnificent concert at the Hopgood Theatre in Noarlunga. Their voices will fill the air with joy and inspiration, creating a musical experience that you won’t want to miss. Miss Pointon has done a wonderful job working with the Choir and we look forward to seeing the choir perform along with a number of other schools on Tuesday 7 November.

We are eager to make the most of every moment in Term 4, and we look forward to celebrating these opportunities and many more experiences with you. Stay tuned for more details and specific event dates in the coming weeks.

As always, we appreciate your ongoing support and involvement in the Investigator College community. These events wouldn’t be the same without our dedicated families, staff, and students coming together to celebrate and create lasting memories.

Wishing you all a joyful and successful Term 4. Let’s make the most of these exciting opportunities!
