Relay for Life

The Year 9 students and The Rite Journey staff organised and ran a very successful Relay for Life event in Week 1. It was excellent to see so many students from all year levels enthusiastically involved across the day. Along with an outstanding event, the school community raised a phenomenal $5023 to be donated to the Cancer Council.

‘Once Upon a Festival’

A number of Middle School students participated in the ‘Once Upon a Festival’ at Immanuel College. This exciting event provided a platform for our budding authors to showcase their literary talents. Students from different grades came together to celebrate the world of words. Students attended writing workshops, participated in storytelling, and shared their creative works with their peers.

Year 9 Science Zoo Excursion

Our Year 9 students embarked on an exciting educational journey as they visited the Adelaide Zoo. This trip was an excellent opportunity for them to explore the wonders of the animal kingdom and deepen their understanding of biodiversity. The Zoo excursion allowed students to connect classroom learning with real-life experiences, fostering a greater appreciation for wildlife and animal adaptations.

We thank our dedicated teachers for organising this informative and fun-filled trip.

Year 7 and 8 Knock Out Volleyball

Numerous students represented Investigator College in the regional Year 7 and 8 Volleyball Carnival. The students displayed their impressive volleyball skills, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event. Congratulations to all the participants for their excellent performance, especially the teams that won through to the next round of the tournament – we wish them all the best.

Middle School Chapel Service

The recent Chapel Service was a great opportunity to spend time as a community and reflect on the College’s Anglican faith and values. Reverend Tracey, visiting from Pulteney Grammar School, conducted the service and was fantastic at engaging our students in thought, prayer, song and movement. Students were informed of the upcoming time of Advent and how they might show gratitude and empathy for others during this season. We are grateful for the active participation of both students and staff in this event.

We look forward to many more events taking place between now and the conclusion of the school year.
