Serving Investigator Students and Families for 10 Years!

Wednesday, 22 May 2024
Hats off to our fabulous staff team! I would have loved to have commented on each of them at our AGM last night...

John Robinson

Principal

They work long hours, are professional, reflective and have gone above and beyond to meet the demands of 21st century best practice teaching, administration and support. They have embraced numerous new initiatives and genuinely try to help each child be his or her best self. I feel proud of them all and trust that members of our community do too. Each year it gives me pleasure to award a plaque to staff members who have devoted 10 years to Investigator College and this year we have four more.

Audrey Lim

Audrey is a highly skilled laboratory assistant but she is so much more than this. An accomplished Scientist herself, Audrey is also one of the superstars of our agriculture and sustainability programs, she is a parent of Investigator students Sam and Ben, a keen supporter of College sport where she is also an excellent photographer and she has spoken about our programs on a number of College tours.

Congratulations and thank you, Audrey.

Nat Gilbert

Nat is truly an Investigator legend. As Coordinator of Sustainable Futures, and teacher of agriculture and Certificates courses in Horticulture Conservation and Ecosystem Management, Nat has really put us on the map as one of the leading schools of Australia in this important area. Her work at Currency Creek is appreciated by us all and is a reflection of her love and passion for making the world a better place.

Nat’s three daughters -Alice, Stephanie and Grace- attended the College and her granddaughter Rosie is in Reception.

I also wish to thank Nat for all the effort that goes into bringing lambs and calves and chickens to school, as well as overseeing our animal ethics.

We congratulate and thank the wonderful Nat.

Tanya Stopp

If you ever walk through the Junior School you are likely to hear the laughter of Junior Primary teacher and programs Coordinator Tanya Stopp.

Mrs Stopp is a much-loved school personality who brings joy into learning and a spirit of kindness and care. Tanya is parent of two Investigator students, Ashlee and Jaime, loves working in a faith-based environment and contributes so much to the wellbeing of students, staff and community. Congratulations to Tanya on 10 years of dedicated service.

Rachel Vincent

Rachel is another really special person who we honoured on Wednesday night. A valued member of our Learning strategies Team, Rachel has a lovely way of making all children feel valued and to look beyond any challenges. She is patient, kind and remarkably calm. We are all value and respect Rachel and offer her our heart congratulations and thanks.

I am certain you are witnessing other outstanding staff members as well. Pease feel free to let us know as providing positive feedback gives everyone a boost, including you.

Keep reading your newsletter as we are anticipating some exciting announcements this term.

Thank you for your support.
