Farewelling the class of 2024

Thursday, 24 October 2024
This week is a significant week in the lives of our 2024 Year 12 students. This is the final, official week of school for them all. We have celebrated them in style with a variety of Spirit Week activities: dress-up as your future career, op-shop day, signing of college shirts, Staff v Year 12 students in volleyball and netball. The spirit and life around the College have been tremendous all week, but of course there have been a few tears.

The Year 12 final assembly is always a highlight on the school calendar and this one did not disappoint, with a significant crowd to watch on as we introduced, celebrated and farewelled the class of 2024. The Year 12 video is always a favourite and a great opportunity to reflect on the students’ years of schooling at Investigator College.

It is such a collective effort to help our students achieve their very best and with that in mind, I would like to thank our ‘village’. The College Board, the Leadership Team, families, staff and most importantly, our students are all a part of this journey, and I want to personally thank you all for supporting, educating, embracing and encouraging these 2024 graduates.

Many of these students have been a part of our Investigator community since Reception and although we will be very sad to say farewell for now, we know they all have wonderful futures ahead of them. We can’t wait to see where they go.
