Dear families,
A lot has happened in the last week of term and it highlights what a dedicated and hard-working community we have at our College. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff for their work right up until the last day of term and highlight the support we receive from our parent/caregiver community.
End of Term Assembly
Our Assembly this week was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a number of successes and showcase all of the fantastic work that has been occurring in the Junior School Music program. It was also a wonderful opportunity to farewell Mrs Suzi Wade and hear about all of the opportunities she has created for students at Investigator College.
The following musical performances also occurred and it was great to see how our students have progressed as part of the Music Program.
Year 4 Choir – My Lighthouse – By Rend Collective
Year 4 Ukulele – Fanga Alafia – Traditional West African welcome song
Year 3 – Recorder Boogie – C Crichton and Hot Cross Buns – Traditional
Year 5 – Woodwind/Brass Jam – C Crichton
Year 6 – (Mixed Percussion) – The White Flower – Jon Maddin (Arranged C Crichton)
We thank Miss Lisa Pointon and Mr Cass Crichton for their passion and dedication to the Investigator College Music Program. It certainly provides rich opportunities and experiences for our students.
Reception Zoo Excursion
On Thursday our Reception students went on an excursion to the Adealide Zoo. This excursion was a culmination of their learning for the term. Thank you to all the parent helpers that assisted on the excursion.
Other Recent Activities
Enjoy some time with your family over the next three weeks. We look forward to seeing you back in Term 3.
