Week 6 means House Breakfast and Sports Day!

This week we embraced the Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Houses as we started the week with our traditional House Breakfast. 350 students and staff enjoyed bacon and eggs on the BBQ, cooked up by our College student leaders. The House banners were ready and the songs had been rehearsed, ready for Sports Day!

Sports Day is a day for many students to shine but, just as importantly, where we all come together to celebrate sports together as a College community. Every year Banksia, Blue Gum, Waratah and Wattle compete in a series of highly competitive events to try and win the shield.

Banksia was awarded the Sports Day shield for 2023, thanks to their exceptional teamwork and House spirit. In second place was Waratah, third was Blue Gum, and fourth place was Wattle.

We extend our gratitude to our Parents & Friends for providing a scrumptious BBQ, to our staff for organising a splendid day, and to the parents/caregivers who offered their assistance and support during the event.

Schoolbox

It is hard to believe that we are almost at the half way point of Term 1 and for our Senior School students this means assessments are well and truly underway. Our new Schoolbox Learning Management system is a fantastic way for you to keep track of your child’s learning and view upcoming assessment tasks they may have. You can also view their timetable, some results and upcoming events. I encourage you all to engage with this fantastic platform as it really is a wealth of information.
