About This Role

Join the Investigator College team as our Learning Strategies Coordinator!

Investigator College is seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher to lead our Learning Strategies team following the retirement of our esteemed incumbent.

In this vital role, you will support students with diverse learning needs and provide resources and guidance to gifted and talented students, ensuring each student receives the individualised support they need.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage programs and support through the Learning Strategies Centre.
  • Oversee and support the work of Teachers and ESOs involved in the Centre.
  • Respond to and act on the needs of families, staff, and students.
  • Develop and manage processes, frameworks, and resources to support diverse learning needs.
  • Liaise with staff, students, and parents to develop appropriate Individual Learning Plans.
  • Assist in the transition and support of students with diverse learning needs.
  • Help teachers differentiate or adapt their teaching programs to cater to all students.
  • Ensure documentation and evidence collection for NCCD are maintained and reflect best practice.
  • Liaise with health professionals and external providers to assist student learning.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of learning strategies and support frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in managing and delivering educational support services.
