The Casual/Weird and Wacky Day held on Wednesday was a fabulous success, raising over $1300 for the children in Cebu, Philippines.

Lunchtime saw a myriad of crazy activities, from Shaving Cream Twister and Mystery Feely Boxes (love that slime!), to Lucky Dips and a Guess the Number of Lollies competition.
Who knew that Mr Tenny was so proficient at catapulting marshmallows dipped in chocolate sauce to stick to someone’s face, or that Mr Strother had such good aim with the Cheezels landing on shaving cream-topped heads.  Who knew that toilet paper could fly? Bonus points if you got it in the bowl!

For those seeking something a little less weird, bacon sandwiches, capably cooked by Middle School students, were available.

Congratulations goes to the wonderful Junior and Middle School Student Representative Councils who worked hard to plan, set up and run the activities, creating a fun community day.

We would especially like to thank student Kianna and her grandma, Helen, who very generously donated prizes, lucky dips and face paint to support the day.

Money raised will enable children living in rubbish dumps in Cebu to attend children and youth camps run by our Investigator College team who are travelling to the Philippines in April. To donate, visit  Perhaps your family might like to sponsor a child/teen to attend camp?
