Wow! What a year it’s been for Investigator Sport with the students winning competitions in a number of sporting disciplines throughout the year.

As always, the students of Investigator represent the College with enthusiasm, positivity and a sense of pride for the school. As well as representing the school, we also have a number of students who excel in their sporting pursuits whether it would be with their local sporting clubs all the way up to national competitions. We really have some talented sports people here at Investigator College.

As a result of this success, I am pleased to announce that Investigator College will be introducing a new award at the Speech Day recognising a student or students for their sporting success. This award will recognise the outstanding achievements of Investigator College students within the school and wider community. This could range from club, district/association, state, national and/or international representation.

The award will include students from Year 4 to Year 12. Parents/caregivers, peers or the student themselves can nominate through a nomination process (see link below) with the final recipients of the award selected by members of a selection committee.

This really is an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their achievements on the sporting field and hopefully motivate more students to challenge themselves to achieve higher in all aspects of their physical activity.

If anyone has any further questions about the award and the nomination process, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Warm regards

Andrew Palumbo
