2025 Student Leaders Announced

Friday, 8 November 2024
College Captaincy and Vice Captaincy (Sustainability & Wellbeing) are prestigious roles within our college community. These senior student leaders will be required to lead their peers on campus and will be ambassadors for the College both at Anglican school events and in the wider community.

Captains are required to act as role models through their conduct on a daily basis and at whole-of-school events. It gives me great delight to announce our student leaders for 2025.

We know they will be wonderful ambassadors for our College and we wish them luck in their new roles for 2025.

Investigator College strives to uphold these five very important values within our college life. Excellence // Creativity // Community // Sustainability // Respect

Schools that foster a culture of excellence emphasise high expectations, self-discipline, respect, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We want all of our students at Investigator to find their passion and pursue it with excellence. For some, that may be sport, music, maths, english, robotics, drama or any number of opportunities we provide at Investigator College.

Some recent examples of excellence within our school can be found in these highlights below:

  • Robotics: All three Investigator teams are through to the National Championship which will be held in Sydney. One team won the Middle school Championship and another also win the Elementary Championship. One of the teams is first place in Australia and 14th internationally for their scores for today. This is truly excellence on display by these students and of course their teacher Mr Andrew Ayliffe and his support crew.
  • Volleyball: Our Year 7/8 Volleyball team are through to the Statewide finals after their recent Statewide Knockout Volleyball competition which our Year 8 boys’ team absolutely dominated. They won all seven of their games without dropping a single set.

We truly value the contribution that our students make to our school and local community. Don’t forget to share with us, if your student has something to report on outside of school.

We are already at the end of Week 4, but there is still so much to come. I look forward to meeting many of you at our upcoming events, such as speech day. For our Year 12s, they have one more week of exams, Year 12 Graduation Dinner and maybe Schoolies. Exciting times ahead for them.
