Our College has always been a place where students, parents, and staff come together to create a thriving and supportive environment for connection, learning, growth, and personal development.

Celebrating 21 Years at the Currency Creek EcoCentre

Last Sunday, we celebrated Investigator College’s 21st birthday in grand style at the Currency Creek EcoCentre. The event was a spectacular success, bringing together past and present members of our community. The idyllic natural surroundings of the EcoCentre provided the perfect backdrop for an event filled with laughter, fun, and the joy of being part of this amazing College. It was a testament to the enduring spirit of Investigator College. A big thank you to all the staff, stall holders and Parents and Friends members that supported the event. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful community.

House Events and Participation

Our House events continue to foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our students. These events are more than just competitions; they are an opportunity for students to connect with their peers, develop leadership skills, and showcase their talents. From sporting events to creative challenges, our House system encourages students to participate and contribute to their teams, nurturing teamwork and sportsmanship and fostering unique talents such as bottle flipping. Thank you Mr Tenny and staff for your work and support in this space.

The Buddy Program

The Buddy Program remains a cornerstone of our commitment to providing a supportive and welcoming environment for our students. This initiative pairs older students with their younger counterparts, creating a mentorship system that fosters friendship, support, and guidance. Our older students excel in their roles as mentors, helping younger students transition into Investigator College with ease. The program has been particularly successful with the introduction of our Prep students that have loved connecting and being mentored by our older students.

Chapel Service with Reverend Tracey Gracey

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Reverend Tracey Gracey for a special Chapel service. Her inspiring message and presence added a spiritual dimension to our community, reminding us of the values that bind us together. We appreciate her contribution and look forward to more opportunities for spiritual growth in our community in 2024.

Upcoming Beach Carnival and Christmas Concert

We are looking forward to our Beach Carnival on Thursday 7 December, set against the picturesque backdrop of Horseshoe Bay, promises a day of fun, games, and community bonding. It’s an occasion to create lasting memories with your Investigator College family. This year due to the cancellation of the Middle/Senior Beach Carnival at the start of the year, the day will involve students from Year 3-9.

The Junior School Christmas Concert, a beloved annual tradition, always ends the year on a joyful note. Our talented students will showcase their musical and artistic talents, spreading holiday cheer throughout the community. Be prepared for a magical afternoon filled with music, laughter, and talent. This will be held on Thursday 23 November.

Investigator College is not just a school; it’s a community where lifelong friendships are formed, shared values are celebrated, and countless opportunities for growth and personal development are available. We are grateful for your continued support and participation in making our school an exceptional place for all.

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events and celebrating the end of another fantastic year together. Thank you for being an essential part of the Investigator College community.
