This week we celebrated the Class of 2023
This week was fittingly labelled as ‘Spirit Week’ with events organised to bring our community together and to provide opportunities for our Year 12s to celebrate with staff who have been involved in their schooling, and to reflect on their time here.
The Staff vs Year 12 Students Volleyball and Netball games were a roaring success, with cheers and clapping filling the gym, once again showing our college community spirit in full swing. Throughout the week, the Year 12 students dressed as Aussie Icons and their Future Careers for some light-hearted dress up fun and laughter. These are the type of moments that they will look back on one day as fond memories.
On Thursday, we held our Final Assembly for the Year 12 cohort. This day always proves to be emotional and rewarding, as it symbolises the impending end of their schooling journey and the beginning of life beyond.
It has been a privilege to play a role in guiding and supporting these young adults and I would like to thank the Class of 2023 for reciprocating the respect and kindness that they show toward one another and our wider community.
As the Year 12s prepare for exams, we hold them in our prayers and hearts and wish for every success as they embark on their new journey.
