On Thursday 3 June, the Reception classes embarked on a Science excursion to the Adelaide Zoo and what a day it was! They had excellent weather and enjoyed watching the animals enjoy the sunshine. Many of the animals were active and that was a great experience for all the students. The focus for the day was to expose the students to an array of both native and exotic animal species to help consolidate their learning of biological sciences – living things and their needs for survival. Students also had the task to try and find specific animals throughout their journey of the Zoo. It was a day of wonder, adventure and fun-filled learning.
