For the first time ever, Investigator College entered a team of four students into the SSSSA Mountain Biking Championships! This is a competition that has seen massive growth in the last few years. This year the competition – held on Friday 15 October – saw a total of 195 teams (98 last year) consisting of 650+ riders across many schools across the state.

The championships took place at the O’Halloran Hill Recreation Park and the format was to see how many laps can be completed in a two-and-a-half hour time limit. The Investigator team consisted of Will Fitton, Noah Fitton, Mani Radcliffe and Xavier Matthews who all ride regularly outside of school. The boys took turns completing laps and overall finished in the top 25 of nearly 80 teams competing in their age division.

Overall it was a fantastic day and amazing experience for all involved. Special thanks goes to Emily Radcliffe, Boyd Fitton and Patrick Matthews for supporting the event and helping on the day.
