Congratulations to Middle and Senior School students, Molly Castle, Amber Murphy, Elliot Shine, Mia Krause, Tim Krause and Mani Radcliffe who represented Investigator College at the Tournament of Minds competition held at Flinders University on Sunday 12 September. Jack Prosser was also a valued member of the team, but unable to attend on the day. The combined group of Year 7s and 10s worked together on a six-week challenge in the Language Literature Division.

The students’ challenge was to use a range of promotional techniques to build hype for a reworked classic based on Winnie the Pooh. Students created a poster, theme song, a trailer and figurines to go with a fast food meal. They also completed a Spontaneous Challenge – a 5-minute unseen problem to test their team work and quick thinking skills.

The team encountered a few challenges along the way, but showed remarkable persistence, resilience and team work to create their solution and present to the judges, and were excellent, enthusiastic representatives of Investigator College. Well done to the team!
