Our Class of 2022 along with family, friends and College staff came together on the evening of 24 November to spend one final night together in celebration of the senior class.
It was evident from the general ’buzz’ in the room that a very enjoyable evening was going to be had!
Chiton Beach Café provided a stunning setting with sunset photographs on the balcony and a view that only our own peninsula can provide. Guests were treated to a sumptuous three course meal, stories of school-days past and some quiet reflection. The DVD presentation captured some of the highlights of students’ schooldays from Reception through to their final days, and was a special reminder of how long the journey has been and what a privilege it has been for all involved to have had some role in our seniors’ lives.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the students to the guests and the acknowledgment of parents and families, through ‘The Rose Ceremony’.
Although we farewell our students and their families, we look forward to an ongoing association through the Old Collegians, and wait patiently for news of their next chapter.
