To celebrate Book Week, the Year 3 and 6 classes visited the Victor Harbor Library this week to meet Eileen Anderson, the author of Tarmizi – The Tiger’s Tale.

Eileen Anderson, animal conservationist and successful author, spent much of the past 40 years residing in Australasia. Due to her work, Eileen has visited conservation sanctuaries in India, Thailand and Malaysia and was granted special permission from The Malaysian Department of Wildlife and National Parks to explore the way rescued animals are rehabilitated and released into their natural habitats. (Pre-COVID19) Eileen is the author of three stories inspired by her grandchildren who lived as expatriates in Malaysia but are now living in Adelaide. Eileen’s passion is to instill a love for beautiful, endangered wild creatures in order to improve their plight.
